Coffered ceiling, sprayed white
A coffered grid with moulded edges over the living and dining rooms, sprayed white.
A coffered ceiling gives an ordinary room an architectural layer without taking any floor space. The size of the grid is worked out from the room's proportions, not the other way around.
Beams can be sprayed white to disappear into the ceiling, or left in timber to make the room heavier and warmer. Reed ceilings work outside under a lapa.

Reed on a timber frame gives shade and keeps the air under the lapa cool.
The grid is built on site and then finished. Allow one to two weeks, depending on the size of the room.
The room is measured and the grid set out so the panels work.
The framing is built against the ceiling and levelled.
Wiring and downlights go in before the finishing.
The beams are finished and sprayed or oiled.
Send a photo of the room and the ceiling height. We will propose a grid.
